With the Mate 20 now fully available. Huawei will also be officially announcing the P20 Pro and P20 lite for the Indian market in the next few days. The devices, officially leaked by Tiger Mobiles in March are now available in Europe but the price question has been on everyones lips as to how much the lite model will cost in the subcontinent.
According to a last-minute leak from an Indian ecommerce site, the P20 Lite will come in at INR 19,999. Which is very reasonable. At the current exchange rates, it translates into $300 or €245.
In Europe where the device is now on the shelves, it has a retail price in the EU of €369. So if accurate the Indian market are getting a great deal. Hardly surprising though when you consider how competitive this segment of the smartphone market isin this part of the world. The P20 lite will be exclusive to Amazon, India and features a a 5.84-inch 1,080×2,280 touchscreen with a iPhone style notch, the Kirin 659 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 32 or 64GB of storage, a 16 MP + 2 MP dual rear camera setup, and a 24 MP selfie snapper which is unique to the Indian Market.
