Chad Kimball has been around for a long time, but this particular coaching program is only a few years old. If you look for Chad Kimball’s reviews, there are a ton of them going back many years. But we wanted to reach out to one of his current students and get their experience on his new Google Maps Elite program. Her name is Susanne Christensen, and to give us permission to reprint her review. I think if you are considering Chad Kimball’s program, this review will be very instructive for you. I joined Chad Kimball’s GME (Google Maps Elite) training program last year, early 2020. I was previously in another training program that taught Facebook ads for local businesses. I didn’t realize until I found Chad’s program that I wasn’t really learning anything new, special, or valuable and had a difficult time gaining anything useful to get any clients. I basically had no direction. Once I found Chad’s program, I didn’t even think too hard about joining. The fact that we are giving business owners something first without asking for money first was totally new to me and was sold to me. Once I joined, I found that the training program was very simple, meaning there weren’t many complicated sections and a basic starter menu. One of the most valuable parts of this program is the Facebook group. I’ve never seen such a great community of people in the group. If I ever had a question and still if I do, someone answers in the group, which consists of new members and veterans.
When I joined, I also knew very little about this business model and was very intrigued. During this past year, I’ve learned more about SEO, Google Maps, writing great content, and so much more. I’ve learned more valuable information than I could possibly learn in a university in four years, and yes, I’ve also earned a college-level degree. There’s nothing else that is more valuable in the least amount of time than this business model. I’ve taken what I’ve learned from this course and applied it to the real world and have gained a few paying clients. With this course, I’m learning even more new concepts daily and applying them to additional business models to grow my business as far as I want to go. This is only the start of my journey, and if I keep going, I can’t imagine the success I’ll have in the next years to come. I feel totally confident in my knowledge and skills, just based on this course alone and the group support. You can take one part from the training and make money as there are many avenues to pursue to do so. I appreciate everyone so much for taking the time to work with me when I had issues and always being there for additional help anytime. I also value the many people going the extra mile to help me solve specific issues I’ve had with any aspect of the training. This is a real business model, and it does really work. For example, I was able to take what I’ve learned in this training course and set up a GMB (Google My Business) and build a website to go along with it. Not only did I set up and verify my GMB, but I also was able to rank my listing and get it ranked to the top 3 positions for most searched keyword terms in my city.
A few times, I wanted to give up because of working too much but then once the pandemic hit, it actually made me take the time to focus on this business. Once I did, results came shortly after. It doesn’t even take as much time as a full-time job at all. I’d spend a few hours a day here and there. When I had issues, I’d ask and figure it out and get what I needed. For example, my GMB wasn’t ranking, and realized some of the issues were with the website I created and not having any links being sent to it. Once I resolved, that is when I started to see my GMB slowly move up in position. The group’s team provided many of the backlinks, and I had some done elsewhere. We’ve been taught so many valuable things and not just this business model in particular. Much of what I’ve learned can be applied to many online businesses and even brick and mortar. The group has a plethora of resources and useful info for just about anything relating to websites, GMB’s, content writing, proposal writing, ads, keyword research, SEO, Google analytics, researching the competition, and we have a weekly webinar hosted by Chad himself or his brother Seth. They always have an answer to anyone’s question. I plan on growing this business as far as it’ll take me, and this is now my dream that I didn’t even know was an option early last year.
